EQ: What is the constitution known as? Law of the land
What makes the constitution so special that has never been given to anyone before ever? There had never been freedom like this before.
What is the paradox to the constitution? when you look at it, you destroy it
Who are the 3 main framers to the constitution? James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson
*Other noted framers: George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Roger Sherman, Gov. Morris
What country desperately wants back the land? England

  1. The Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution are all called what?
    1. Charters of Freedom
  2. What year is it?
    1. 1787 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  3. What happens to opinions over the years?
    1. they change
  4. Smart people know what about themselves?
    1. they don't know a lot
  5. At the beginning of the speech, what is Franklin's argument?
    1. soon, his thoughts might change. Opinions change all the time
  6. Whenever you argue with mom or dad, who is right?
    1. You are; you always believe you are right
  7. Why is he for the Constitution?
    1. anything is better than what we have now. We have to stand united
  8. Ronald Reagan once said "Government at its best is but a necessary evil, and Government at its worst is an intolerable one."
    1. Never accept federal except to protect our borders... local and state control at most. Government holds back from people being their best ever. Taxes, regulations, etc... 
  9. What does Benjamin Franklin think this constitution leads to?
    1.  that it was not good
  10. Why?
    1. it can always be improved upon
  11. What is reference to Babel?
    1. the Towers of Babel fell. He is comparing this to the country. He thinks the enemies are waiting for the country to fail
